About the Role
As an AI Experience Engineer at 42dot, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering seamless human-AI interactions across our mobility platforms. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on shaping intelligent, intuitive user experiences powered by advanced AI technologies. This role bridges the gap between engineering, design, and AI research to create software-defined vehicle experiences that feel natural, safe, and personalized.
Responsibilities
Design and implement AI-driven user experiences for in-vehicle and mobility applications that integrate AI models (e.g., LLMs, vision, speech, recommendation).
Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and data scientists to develop intuitive human-machine interfaces (HMI)
Prototype and test multimodal interaction models (e.g., voice, gesture, contextual feedback) that adapt to user behavior and environments
Optimize AI-driven features for usability, responsiveness, and safety
Conduct user research and usability testing to refine AI behavior and user experience
Stay current with AI and HMI trends, and integrate new methods into our systems
Work closely with platform and embedded software teams to ensure seamless integration with vehicle hardware
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field
3-5+ years of experience developing AI-driven user experiences or interfaces
Proficiency in one or more UI frameworks (e.g., Jetpack Compose, React, Flutter, SwiftUI).
Experience integrating AI/ML APIs or models (OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, etc.).
Experience with human-centered design principles and usability testing
Strong understanding of AI technologies such as NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems
Familiarity with embedded systems or automotive platforms is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and design teams
Passion for building innovative experiences that redefine mobility
